Terms of Service
Bounce Board (bouncebox.xyz) Effective date: October 10, 2026
These terms cover the testnet preview. We will review them again before real payments open.
These terms are an agreement between you and CT Wendt Holdings LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). They cover your use of Bounce Board at bouncebox.xyz and any purchase you make there (together, the "service").
By using the service, or by signing a payment for a takeover, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Bounce Board is
Bounce Board shows one box that bounces around the screen. Anyone can pay to put a card on the box. A card has a display name and a link. It can also include a short description, a logo, an X handle and a token listing. The box shows your ticker if you list a token, or your display name if you do not. The rest of your card shows in the lists next to the box.
Every card is a paid placement. It is an ad bought by the person who submitted it. It is not an endorsement by us.
Testnet notice. Bounce Board currently runs on Base Sepolia, a test network. Payments there use test USDC, which has no real-world value. We plan to move to Base mainnet, where payments will use real USDC. The site shows which network is in use. These terms apply on both networks.
2. Who can use the service
To buy a takeover, you must:
- be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract where you live;
- not be located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive US sanctions;
- not be on, or owned or controlled by someone on, a US sanctions or restricted-party list (for example, the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list);
- not be barred from using the service by any law that applies to you.
If you buy for a company or project, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
3. What you buy
A purchase (a "takeover") gets you a place in the queue to show your card on the box. Here is how it works:
- Queue order. First paid, first shown. Your place is set by the time your payment settles and our server records it. Ties are broken by an internal ID.
- Minimum time. When your turn starts, your card shows for at least 60 seconds, unless we remove it (see section 8).
- Corner bonus. Each time the box hits a corner while your card is showing, your card is protected for 60 seconds from that hit. The box does not pass to the next buyer during that window. A corner hit inside the window starts a new 60-second window.
- How long you keep it. After the minimum time, you keep the box until the next paid buyer's turn starts, subject to any corner protection. If nobody is in the queue, your card stays up until someone else buys.
- Estimates. Start times shown for the queue are estimates. They already count the minimum time and corner protection of the cards ahead of you. They can change, for example if we remove a card ahead of you.
- Timing source. Our server's clock controls all timing. What you see on your screen may lag slightly.
You do not buy any ownership in the site, any number of views, clicks or visitors, or any result.
Restored cards. If we remove the card that is showing and nobody is in the queue, we may bring back the most recent previous card that we did not remove, free of charge. The timing rules in this section apply to a restored card too. So the next buyer's turn starts only after the restored card's minimum time and any corner protection. A restored showing is not a new purchase and gives that card's buyer no extra rights.
4. Price and payment
- Price. The price is shown in the payment quote before you sign. It is currently 1 USDC per takeover. We may change the price at any time. A change does not affect a payment that has already settled.
- How you pay. Payment uses the x402 payment protocol and USDC on Base. Your wallet signs a one-time transfer authorization (EIP-3009 "TransferWithAuthorization"). It allows exactly one transfer of the quoted amount of USDC to our receiving address. It expires about 2 minutes after your wallet asks you to sign it. If it is about to expire when we are ready to submit it, we ask you to sign again. It is not an allowance or a token approval, and it cannot move any other token or any other amount.
- Facilitator. A third-party payment facilitator (currently x402.org) checks your signature and submits the transfer to the blockchain. The facilitator pays the network fee for the transfer.
- Checks before you pay. We check your card before we submit your payment. If your card fails a check, or our token checks or content moderation cannot run, we do not submit your payment and you are not charged. The only check we skip during an outage is the phishing blocklist (see section 6).
- When your card is queued. Your card is queued only after the transfer settles on-chain and we record it.
- Your wallet. You are responsible for your wallet, your keys and anything you sign. Read the signing request in your wallet before you approve it. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
- Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
5. Payments are final
Once your payment settles on-chain, it is final. We cannot reverse a blockchain transfer.
We do not give refunds, including when:
- we remove your card because it breaks these terms, or after a report;
- we remove your card for any other reason these terms allow;
- the next buyer takes the box soon after your minimum time ends;
- your card has a mistake, such as a wrong link or contract address;
- the site, the network, your wallet or a third-party service is slow or unavailable;
- we change, pause or end the service.
If you paid but your card was not queued. In rare cases a transfer can settle on-chain but an error stops your card from being queued, or we cannot confirm whether it settled. The site then tells you not to pay again, for example "We could not confirm your payment" or "Your payment went through, but your card was not queued", and turns off the pay button until you reload the page. Before you try again, check your wallet or a block explorer for a USDC transfer to our receiving address. Trying again signs a new payment. If you find a transfer and your card is not in the queue, contact us (see section 20) with the transaction hash. We will review it. If we confirm the payment and the error was ours, we will queue your card or send the payment back to the wallet that paid.
6. Content rules
You are responsible for everything you submit. This includes your card and the site your link leads to.
Format rules. Our system enforces these:
- Display name: required, 1 to 32 characters.
- Link: required. It must use https and a domain name, up to 200 characters. No IP addresses. No punycode ("xn--") domains.
- Description: optional, up to 120 characters. No links or domain names.
- No control characters in any text field.
- X handle: optional, 1 to 15 letters, numbers or underscores.
- Logo: optional. PNG, JPEG or WebP only, up to 500 KB and 512 x 512 pixels. SVG is not accepted. The site crops logos to a square and resizes them to 256 x 256 pixels.
- Token listing: optional. If you list a token, you must give a ticker (1 to 12 letters or numbers), a chain (Base, Solana or Ethereum) and a contract address in the right format for that chain.
Automated checks. Before we submit your payment, we run these checks:
- Links are checked against a public phishing blocklist and against look-alikes of protected brand names. If the blocklist cannot be loaded, only the format rules above apply to your link.
- Token listings are checked with DexScreener. A trading pool must exist for that contract on that chain. The token's symbol, as DexScreener reports it, must match your ticker. Total liquidity must be at least $1,000. We reject a token that looks like a copy of a much larger token with the same ticker on the same chain. If DexScreener cannot be reached, we refuse the card until it can be checked, and you are not charged.
- Text and logos are reviewed by automated AI moderation models after your wallet signs and before we submit the payment. These models have a daily limit. When it is used up, new cards are refused until the next day (UTC), and you are not charged.
What is not allowed. Whether or not it passes our automated checks, you must not submit, or link to, content that:
- is a scam or fraud, or promises guaranteed returns, giveaways or "send some, get more back" schemes;
- impersonates any person, company, project or token, or falsely suggests a connection with one;
- lists a fake, copycat or wrong contract address, or a ticker meant to mislead;
- contains or leads to malware, phishing, wallet drainers, or pages that ask for seed phrases or private keys or trick people into signing transactions;
- is sexual or contains nudity;
- sexualizes or endangers minors in any way;
- is hateful, harassing or threatening, or promotes extremist groups or symbols;
- shows graphic violence or gore, or encourages self-harm;
- promotes illegal drugs, weapons or other illegal goods or activity;
- is illegal in the United States or where you are;
- infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- defames anyone or exposes someone's private information;
- spreads false information about elections or voting;
- tries to get around our checks, for example by hiding a link or domain in your text.
Passing our automated checks does not mean we approved your card. We can still remove it.
7. Your rights in what you submit
You must own, or have permission to use, everything you submit. This includes names, logos, images, trademarks and token details. If you list a project or token, you confirm you have the right to promote it.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, resize, convert and display your content to run the service. This includes showing your card on the box, in the lists and leaderboards on the site, in the site's public data feed and in the history of past takeovers, and showing it again as a restored card. This license lasts as long as we store your content.
Your card is public. Anyone who visits the site can see it, copy it or take a screenshot of it. We cannot control what others do with it.
8. Reports, moderation and removal
Anyone can report a card that is showing or waiting in the queue, using the report button on the site. The report categories are: scam or fake token, impersonation, adult or graphic content, hate or harassment, and something else.
We may review cards and reports. We do not promise to review every card or every report.
We may remove any card at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms, harms or could harm others, or creates legal risk for us. We may also refuse any submission. These decisions are at our discretion. Removal does not entitle you to a refund.
When we remove the card that is showing, the next buyer in the queue starts right away. If nobody is waiting, a previous card may be restored as described in section 3. If we remove a restored card, we also remove the original. When we remove a card, we delete its logo. Copies cached by browsers or our host can last up to 5 minutes.
We limit how often anyone can request quotes, submit payments and send reports. Requests over a limit are refused, and you can try again later.
9. Paid placement, not advice
Every card is a paid placement. We do not endorse, verify or vouch for any card, person, project, link or token.
Nothing on the service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing on the service is an offer or a recommendation to buy or sell any token or other asset.
Our token checks are basic and automated. A token on a card only passed those basic checks. That does not mean the token is safe, legitimate or worth anything. The site labels every card "Paid placement. Not an endorsement. Not financial advice."
Tokens are risky. Crypto tokens can lose all of their value quickly. Many are scams, have little liquidity or can be changed by their creators. Do your own research. Check contract addresses yourself on a source you trust. Never share your seed phrase or private key. Any decision you make based on a card is your own.
Links on cards lead to sites we do not control. Visiting them is at your own risk.
10. Using the site fairly
You must not:
- interfere with, overload or attack the service;
- get around our rate limits or checks;
- submit forged payment signatures, or use a wallet you are not allowed to use;
- try to access the admin area or any data you are not allowed to see;
- scrape or copy the service in a way that harms it or its users;
- use the service to break any law.
We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
11. Third-party services
The service depends on services we do not control. These include your wallet, the Base blockchain, the x402 payment facilitator, USDC and its issuer, Cloudflare (our host) and DexScreener. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their failures, delays, fees, outages, errors or changes.
We never hold your keys, and we never hold funds for you. We are not a wallet, an exchange or a custodian.
12. Changes to the service
We may change any part of the service at any time. This includes the price, the timing rules, the content rules, the checks we run and the network we use (for example, moving from Base Sepolia to Base mainnet). We may pause or end the service at any time. If we do, cards in the queue may not be shown. Payments are not refunded, except as described in section 5.
13. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.
14. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, tokens or goodwill.
- We are not liable for losses caused by cards, links or tokens shown on the service, by third-party services, by blockchain networks, or by your wallet or keys.
- Our total liability for all claims related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for takeovers in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US$50.
Some places do not allow some of these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify (cover) and defend us, and our members, managers and agents, against any claims, losses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that come from: your content; the site, project or token you promote; your breach of these terms; or your violation of any law or anyone's rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to these terms or the service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Indiana. You and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before you file a claim, please contact us (see section 20) so we can try to resolve it informally.
17. Copyright and other rights complaints
If you believe a card infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, contact us (see section 20). Include:
- your name and contact details;
- the work or mark you own;
- the card (its display name and when it showed, or its takeover ID);
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that your notice is accurate.
We may remove the card.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on the site and change the effective date. Changes apply from the new effective date. They do not change the terms that applied to a takeover that already settled. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
19. Other terms
- These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
- If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example in a sale or reorganization of our business.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after you stop using the service will continue. These include sections 5, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
